Yes, our fiberglass exteriors are waterproof, seamless, do not absorb the heat of the sun, will not rust or dent and are attractive. A refrigerated metal panel box does not offer these benefits.

Our units are generally rented for temporary needs; which we define as anything less than 1-year. However, in certain instances, we do offer programs that make units available for longer time periods.

In most cases, as a true rental, all of your rental expenses are considered an operating expense and are 100% deductible.

Yes, product storage limitations do exist because of refrigeration capacity. It is important to communicate your usage intentions with your Polar Leasing representative.

Yes, some units are appropriate for use with a generator; however it is critical to first communicate with a Polar Leasing expert prior to this type of use. DT8x20 units require 12KW (12,000W) generator and DT810 units require 85KW (8,500W).

Yes, Polar Leasing is equipped to handle rentals for the smallest weekend gathering to the largest national event. Rental periods range from 1 week to 5 years.

In accordance with your local laws, Polar Leasing does not provide electrical services and recommends the use of a licensed electrician to bring power to the rental unit.

In the unlikely event a service call is required, we have excellent relationships with refrigeration service companies throughout North America and also offer a 24-hour service hot line. We are a family owned company that takes great pride in customer service and our reputation.

Polar Leasing is the only container company that rents mobile refrigerated units exclusively. Also, we are a family owned company, we manufacture our own products, and you will never have to deal with a third party.

Our cost is competitive and often less than the cost of utilizing a reefer truck for temporary storage. Most reefer truck rentals charge for refrigeration run time and diesel refueling every two days. Polar Leasing does NOT charge for refrigeration run time and all units operate on an efficient electrical connection; which eliminates the hassle, worry and cost of refueling.

Our units are also much quieter and do not smell of diesel fumes.

Our refrigerated containers sit directly on the ground, are quiet and well lit. A reefer truck floor is 4 feet above the ground, has a dark interior and is loud and odorous.

Units are typically available for a fairly quick turnaround. In some instances they can be delivered within 12-24 hours depending on unit availability at depot location and delivery schedule availability.

A 40 foot refrigerated shipping container weighs 10,000 lbs. and must be set in place on a perfectly flat, level surface with a crane. Our units weigh less than 2,000 lbs. and can be placed on almost any type of surface and uneven terrain; without the use of a crane.

Yes, simply supply power to the unit and it is ready to run. No refrigeration work is required on-site.

We have sizes ranging from 6′ x 8′ to 16′ x 65′, with the most common sizes being 8’x10′ and 8’x20′.

Both the cooler and freezer walk-ins require 30amp service, 208-230volt, single-phase.

Typically, all deliveries include the service of setting the unit in place and are handled by a Polar Leasing employee or one of our contracted freight carriers. However, each delivery is unique, please be sure to speak to your representative about other possible needs such as forklift and forklift operators.
